Steps to install Telerik Nokia Lumia WP7 skins

After Nokia announcement of Nokia Lumia windows phone, Telerik launched new Nokia Lumia WP7 skins for developers. In this post I will show you steps to install them,

Skins look like below,

Step 1

Download Nokia Lumia WP7 Emulator skin from here. You will get Skins top download as ZIP file in other section

Step 2

Unzip the downloaded folder. You will get three types of skin

1. Nokia Lumia 710 Telerik
2. Nokia Lumia 710 white
3. Nokia Lumia 710 Black

You can choose any of them as of your choice.

Step 3

Navigate to folder

C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft XDE\1.0\

Step 4

Take the backup of below four files. These are the default skin

Step 5

After taking the backup, copy and paste files from any folder of above three to above location. I copied files from Nokia Lumia 710 Telerik folder.

Now go ahead and run an Windows Phone application in Emulator, you should see the new Telerik Skin.
